Dr. Angelina Michael is a dedicated aquaculture expert and senior lecturer at the University of Dodoma, specializing in fish nutrition and natural food production. Her research focuses on sustainable aquaculture, and she has authored several papers on fish nutrition, natural food production, and aquaculture development. Dr. Michael has played a key role in promoting fish farming through both academic training and hands-on involvement as a fish farmer.
Beyond academia, Dr. Michael has demonstrated strong leadership and organizational abilities. She has been instrumental in coordinating the Aquaculture Unit within the Department of Biology from 2019 to 2023, overseeing activities such as fish farming and swimming activities.
She was also actively involved in organizing the 1st International Conference on Science, Technology, and Innovation, hosted by the University of Dodoma in 2024, where she served as the Co-Secretary. Additionally, she has played a vital role in academic administration, frequently serving as the Chairperson for university examination moderation and acting as the Head of the Department in the absence of the substantive head.
